Hannah Buck

Hannah Buck

Hannah graduated from the University of Brighton with a degree in Illustration, and now resident back in Surrey, is currently accepting commissions as a freelance illustrator.
Miss Buck has always been an avid scribbler, drawing inspiration from cartoons, stickers, skateboard graphics, street art, toys, music and films. With a strong penchant for portraiture, she states simply: “I have an eye for faces and I like to draw.” Her subjects are for the most part musicians, largely driven by her passion for all things hip-hop.

Hannah is a firm believer in the hand-drawn, and so each of her works start out that way. Whilst digital tools may be used at the end of her process, she tries to keep this to a minimum, favoring a hands-on approach where possible. She discovered printmaking whilst studying, and has since made regular use of such processes in her work. She has also developed processes of her own to create her unique style of image.

You’ll find her illustrations in books and magazines, on album covers and posters, and now on the walls of our gallery.  For further information on Hannah or for private commissions please contact us.
